Infant-Toddler Self-Regulation Instructor Guide
 
The Instructor Guide provies higher education faculty and training and techinical assistance personnel support in designing and delivering information on the SELF Model of Regulation and the SELF Assessment-Intervention Process. The SELF Model of Regulation addresses the complex nature of self-regulatin and provides a comprehensive, exemplary practice of assessment-intervention that incorporate a clinical reasoning process. The Guide offers three options for delivering the material: a traditional academic course, an online seminar and a face-to-face workshop. Infant-Toddler Self-Regulation: An Approach for Assessment-Intervention
 
This Manual introduces a new assessment-intervention process on self-regulation for children birth to three. The package provides theoretical information on self-regulation, ethnographic interviewing and observational assessment; real case studies for practice and application; and intervention activities. Included with the Manual are a sample of the Family Interview Form and the Observation of Self-Regulation Variables (OBSRV) Protocol, which may be photocopied. This Manual is designed to serve as a self-contained training package or a general assessment resource. The Manual is available in either an electronic PDF ($25) or hard copy ($50)version.

Justin Video
 
A visit with JUSTIN and his family. A videotape that looks at a young child as he interacts with his family at home, plays and engages in activities at his preschool, and visits his grandparents. Justin's family and teacher share their concerns, discuss Justin's strengths, and talk about what they would like to see happen for Justin, now and in the future.

Justin is almost three years old and has Down Syndrome. His family is concerned about his language development and other developmental issues. Justin is very engaging and the video is a delight to view. It is a great tape to show students, to discuss development and to practice observing behavior as a team.

Through Shared Windows Curriculum and Instructor Guide
 
A new framework for the observational assessment of young children through the application of the Performance Competence Framework. This 300-page bound curriculum presents an assessment course that uses shared windows through which professionals from various disciplines may look at the performance of a child in collaboration with the child's family. The Through Shared Windows course integrates key information from diverse fields into a single shared framework for gathering assessment information about the uniqueness of each child and family.

The assessment framework identifies underlying factors which both support and compromise a child's performance. The course responds to the new concepts and regulations currently being put forth for the assessment of young children by providing detailed information and clinical applications that are developmentally appropriate, family centered, culturally appropriate, team based, holistic, based on expertise from diverse fields and immediately leads to intervention strategies.

- Narrative for all content areas of the observational assessment framework and process.
- Narratives on other key content areas such as Family Systems Theory.
- A complete 3 credit hour graduate level course (48 contact hours) with course outline, grading criteria, overheads, handouts, assignments, class activities and more.
